Impact Report 2023

Our Objectives

The four main objectives remain unchanged

  1. save bikes from being lost to landfill

  2. Get more people cycling on affordable bikes

  3. Raise as much money as we can for Naomi House & Jacksplace

  4. Measure the positive carbon footprint of the project

Our Impact

In 2023 we achieved:

277 bikes fully recycled

£24,678 sales / fundraising

27.7t of carbon positively recycled

Remember: 100% of our sales price goes to Naomi House & Jacksplace Hospices

Since we started

That means - since we started this small project, we have sold 594 bikes and raised over £47,500 for Naomi House & Jacksplace

No bike is wasted!

If we can't get a bike back on the orad (with a sale price that justifies the repair expense), we will break it down for spare parts, and recycle the metal into a local metal dealer - where we obtain a value for the weighed metal.

Used inner tubes are recycled back into the Schwalbe recycle scheme.
